Canceling a Pending Request
If you no longer need a ticket request that has not yet been approved, you can cancel it directly from your orders. This helps keep your requests up to date and avoids unnecessary approvals. This article explains how to cancel a pending request in TicketOS.
Overview
Pending requests are ticket orders that have been submitted but not yet approved. While a request is still pending, you have the ability to cancel it.
Once a request is approved, you may no longer be able to cancel it yourself.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Locate Your Pending Request
- Go to Orders.
- Select My Orders.
- In the Open Orders section, locate your pending request.
- Click View next to the request to open the Order Summary page.
Cancel the Request
- On the Order Summary page, look in the top right corner.
- Click Cancel Order.
- Confirm that you want to cancel the request.
What Happens Next
After canceling the request, it will be removed from your list of open orders. The request will no longer be submitted for approval or fulfillment.
Common Issues
You do not see the Cancel Order button
The request may already be approved or processed. Only pending requests can be canceled.
You cannot find your request
Make sure you are viewing the Open Orders section under My Orders.
Important Notes
- Only pending requests can be canceled.
- Once a request is approved, you may not be able to cancel it yourself.
- Canceling a request removes it from the approval process.
