Create and Manage Contacts

When requesting or ordering tickets, you may need to add guests who will attend the event. If the person you want to add is not already in your contacts, you can create a new contact during the ordering process. This article explains how to create a new contact and how to update contact information later.

Overview

Contacts allow you to quickly add guests to ticket requests or orders without entering their information each time. If a guest is not already available in your contacts, you can create a new one during the ordering process.

You can also update contact details later if you have permission to edit that contact.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Create a New Contact During an Order

  1. Start the ticket ordering or request process for an event.

  2. In the Guest Information section, locate the guest search area.

  3. Click Create New Contact.

  4. Enter the required contact details.

  5. Review the Private Contact option:

    • If Private Contact is selected, the contact will only be available for you to use.

    • If Private Contact is not selected, the contact becomes available for other employees in your organization to add to their guest lists.

  6. Save the contact.

  7. Add the contact to the guest list and continue with your order.

Edit an Existing Contact

  1. Add the contact to a guest list during the ordering process.

  2. Locate the contact in the guest list.

  3. Click View/Edit next to the contact.

  4. If editing is available, the contact details will appear.

  5. Update the information as needed.

  6. Save the changes to store the updated details for future use.

What Happens Next

After creating a contact, it will appear in the contact search when adding guests to future ticket requests or orders. This allows you to quickly select the same guest without entering their details again.

If you update a contact that you are allowed to edit, the changes will be saved and used the next time the contact is selected.

  • Private contacts are only visible and usable by the person who created them.

  • Contacts that are not marked as private may be used by other employees in your organization.

  • Even when a contact is shared, only the original creator may be able to edit the contact details.
