Invite and Manage Employees for Manual Login Access
If your organization does not use Single Sign-On (SSO), employees can access TicketOS using a username and password. In this setup, employee accounts are created by inviting users to the platform. This article explains how administrators can invite employees and manage user access.
Overview
When manual login is used, employees must first be invited to TicketOS before they can access the platform. Administrators can invite new employees, assign roles, and manage employee profiles from the employee management area.
Once invited, employees receive instructions to access their account and create their login credentials.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Invite a New Employee

Go to Admin Tools.

Select Manage Employees.

Click Invite Employee.

Enter the required employee information, including:

First Name

Last Name
-
Email Address
-
Manager
-
TicketOS Role (see: TicketOS Roles for help)

Enter any additional details your organization requires, such as:

Job Title
-
Department
-
Address information
-
Phone Number
-

Click Save to send the invitation.
After saving, the employee will receive instructions to access their TicketOS account.
Manage Existing Employees
Super Users can also manage employees from the Manage Employees page.
From this page you can:

Search for employees by name, email, department, or manager

View employee profile information
-
Review role assignments and account status
-
Update employee details when needed
What Happens Next
After an employee is invited, they will receive instructions to access TicketOS and create their login credentials. Once their account is activated, they can sign in using their email address and password.
Super Users can continue to manage employee accounts, roles, and access permissions as needed.
Common Issues
The employee did not receive their invitation
Confirm that the email address was entered correctly when sending the invitation. The employee should also check their spam or junk folder.
The employee cannot sign in
Make sure the employee has completed the account setup process after receiving their invitation.
