Purchasing Tickets Through the TicketOS Marketplace
In addition to company inventory, users may have access to tickets available for direct purchase through the TOS Marketplace. This article explains how marketplace purchases work and what to expect during checkout and fulfillment.
Overview
The TOS Marketplace allows you to purchase tickets when company-owned inventory is not available.
You can:

Search for Marketplace ticket listings

Filter and compare available options
-
Select seats and quantities
-
Complete guest, delivery, and billing information
-
Submit your order for processing or approval
Marketplace tickets may include a service fee as part of the total cost.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Search for Marketplace Tickets

Go to the Search Results page.

Use the Source Filter.
-
Change the filter from Company Tickets to TOS Marketplace.
Events with Marketplace availability are identified with a TOS legend icon.

Click View Tickets next to the event you want.
Browse and Filter Ticket Options
On the View Tickets page:

Use the Source Filter if needed to show Marketplace listings.

Browse available ticket options.
-
Use the Quantity and Price filters to narrow results.
-
Click directly on the seating chart to explore available sections.
Select Tickets and Begin Checkout

Choose your desired quantity.
-
Click Buy to proceed to checkout.
You will be redirected to the checkout page.
Checkout Process
Review Selected Tickets

Confirm ticket details on the left side of the page.

Review any important listing notes.
-
Review your Estimated Total, which includes applicable service fees.
If needed, click Modify Tickets to make changes.
Click Continue to proceed.
Complete Guest Information

Select the appropriate Usage Category.

Add guests to the Guest List until all tickets are assigned.

Enter any additional information your company requires.
Once all required fields are complete, click Continue.
Enter Delivery Information

Select your Delivery Method.
-
In some cases, only one delivery method may be available depending on ticket format.

Enter the Delivery Address.
-
Click Continue.
Enter Billing Information
After completing delivery information, you will be prompted to enter billing details.

Enter your credit card information in the billing section.
-
Confirm that the billing details are accurate.
-
Click Continue to proceed to the review step.
Some organizations require order approval before tickets are purchased. In these cases:

You may still be required to enter billing information.
-
Your card will not be charged until the request is fully approved.
If approval is required, your order will remain pending until a decision is made.
Review and Place Order

Review all order details carefully.
-
Edit Guest, Delivery, or Billing information if needed.

Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions.

All sales are final. No returns or exchanges.

Click Place Order to submit your purchase request.
What Happens Next
After placing your order:

You will see an Order Confirmation page confirming submission.
-
You will receive email notifications about your order status.

You can return to My Orders at any time to review the status.
If approval is required, your order will remain pending until it is approved. Once approved, billing will be processed and the purchase will move forward.
Approval Process
Some organizations require approval before Marketplace tickets can be purchased.
If approval is required:
-
Your order will remain in a pending status.
-
Inventory is not placed on hold while awaiting approval.
If your request is approved, you will receive an email notification.
Billing Information Pending
After approval:

Your order status will update to Billing Info Pending.
-
You will receive an email prompting you to complete billing.
To complete your order:
-
Go to My Orders.
-
Open the approved order.
-
Enter your credit card information.
-
Submit the billing details to finalize the purchase.
Your order is not completed until billing information is successfully submitted.
If Inventory Sells Out
Marketplace inventory is not reserved during the approval process.
If tickets sell out after your request is approved, your order status will update to Choose Alternates.
To proceed:

Go to My Orders.
-
Open the affected order.
-
Click Complete.
-
Select new ticket options that fit within your approved amount.
When you choose alternate tickets within the same order:
-
No additional approvals are required.
-
You can complete the purchase once billing is submitted.
If you no longer wish to purchase tickets at this point, you may cancel the order.
Important Notes
-
Submitting a Marketplace request does not reserve inventory.
-
Approval may be required before billing is collected.
-
Billing is completed after approval through the Billing Info Pending step.

If inventory becomes unavailable, you can select alternate options without restarting the approval process.

All completed Marketplace sales are final.
