Using In-App Notifications in TicketOS
TicketOS provides in-app notifications to keep you informed about activity such as order updates and approval requests. Notifications appear directly within the application so you can quickly respond to important events. This article explains how notifications work and where to view and manage them.

Overview
In-app notifications deliver alerts directly within the TicketOS application. These notifications help you stay informed about important activity such as:

Orders you place

Requests that require approval
-
Updates related to your tickets or requests
Notifications appear in real time while you are using the application and can be accessed later from the Notification Center or your notification history.

Real-Time Notifications
While you are working in TicketOS, notifications may appear on screen to alert you about new activity.
Real-time notifications include:

A blue dot indicating the notification is unread

A timestamp showing when the notification was received

An action button that links directly to the relevant area of the application
Notifications appear on screen briefly and will automatically hide after several seconds. You can also close them manually if needed.

Notification Icon and Counter
The notification bell icon appears in the top navigation of the TicketOS application.
This icon allows you to quickly access recent notifications.

In-App Notifications
Notification Center
The Notification Center provides a list of your recent notifications.
Notifications are displayed from newest to oldest and typically include items received within the past week.
Within the Notification Center you can:

View recent notifications

Filter to show only unread notifications

Mark all notifications as read

Open a notification to go directly to the related area in the application
You can also select View All Notifications to access your full notification history.
In-App Notifications
My Notifications
The My Notifications page provides the complete history of notifications associated with your account.
You can access this page from:

The Notification Center

The My Account menu
On this page you can:

Review all past notifications

Filter notifications by date

Search notifications by title or message content

Mark notifications as read
This page allows you to review previous updates even after they are no longer shown in the Notification Center.

Notification Preferences
You can control how and when you receive notifications through your personal notification settings.
To update your preferences:
- Open the My Account menu.
- Select My Profile

Select Notification Preferences.
From this page you can:

Turn notification channels on or off

Enable or disable specific notification categories
