Understanding Allocated Tickets in TicketOS
Allocated tickets are tickets that have been assigned directly to an employee in TicketOS. When tickets are allocated, they are held for that employee until the order is completed. This article explains what allocated tickets mean and what actions you can take when tickets are assigned to you.
Overview
Allocated tickets are tickets that have been assigned to a specific employee.
When tickets are allocated to you:

An order is created in your My Orders page.

The order status will show as Incomplete.

The tickets are essentially reserved for you until you take action.
In most cases, allocated tickets are no longer visible to other standard users within your organization while they are assigned to you.
The order must be completed before the tickets are delivered.
What You Can Do With Allocated Tickets
When tickets are allocated to you, you have several options.
Complete the Order
If you plan to use the tickets, you will need to complete the order before they are delivered.

Go to My Orders.

Open the order with status Incomplete.

Complete the required order details.

Submit the order.

Re-Assign Tickets to Another Employee
If you no longer need some or all of the tickets, you can re-assign them to another employee.

Open the Incomplete order from My Orders.

Select Re-Assign.

Choose the employee who should receive the tickets.

Confirm the re-assignment.
The tickets will then appear in that employee’s orders for completion.
Reminders for Incomplete Orders
If an allocated order remains Incomplete as the event date approaches, TicketOS may send reminders prompting you to complete the order.
This helps ensure tickets are used before the event occurs.
What Happens If the Order Is Not Completed
If the event date passes and the order is never completed:

The system assumes the tickets were unused.

The order remains incomplete and no tickets will be delivered.
Important Notes

Allocated tickets are reserved for the employee they are assigned to.

Orders must be completed before tickets are delivered.

Tickets can be re-assigned if you no longer need them.

Reminders may be sent if the order remains incomplete as the event approaches.
